The hourly tool-discovery ingest worker fell behind for ~3.5 hours after a third-party RSS source returned malformed payloads. The catalog continued serving cached data; no user-facing 5xx. Mitigated by adding a payload-shape validator that rejects bad upstream rows without halting the worker.
An expired intermediate cert on the edge CDN caused a 29-minute window of TLS handshake failures for a subset of clients. Resolved by rotating the cert and pre-warming the edge fleet. Post-incident: added a 14-day-out cert-expiry alert that pages on-call.
Rate-limit bucket sizing returned 429s to legitimate burst traffic from one customer's CI pipeline. Raised the per-key burst allowance and restarted the limiter. No data loss; affected requests retried successfully on the customer side.
