AI Tool Radar — weekly catalog of what's new in AI tooling

The AI Tool Radar is live. It is a weekly, hand-curated catalog of new AI tools — what they do, what they cost, and a one-line take on whether they earn the click.

What it is

Each Surfaced edition is a short, dense list. Every entry has:

• The tool's name and a direct launch link.
• A one-sentence description.
• A pricing note — free, freemium, paid, or open source.
• A one-line take from the editor.

What it is not

• It is not a leaderboard. There is no ranking, no scoring, no "best of".
• It is not a directory. The list resets every week and we delete the entries that did not earn a return visit.
• It is not paid placement. We do not accept submissions and we do not take commissions on the tools we link.

Why a separate surface from /tools

The /tools catalog is our own utilities. Surfaced is everyone else's. Keeping them on separate routes lets each one keep its own conventions — /tools ships only zero-tracking client-side utilities; Surfaced is willing to link a tool with a server, an account, or a price tag if the tool itself earns the slot.
